Looking for a fun, easy and creative way to tell your sweetie how much you care about them?
Or do you find the cat gotten your tongue? You may find words just don’t come out easily and all you want to do is express yourself to capture your sweetie’s heart.
Why not add some newness in your expression to bring out the spontaneity and romance to the relationship. Since we are dealing with chocolate why not make it delicious too!
Most times you don’t need an extravagant presentation. Simple gestures will do to melt your sweetie’s heart as a great reminder how special, wanted and needed in your life. People love to be told how much their sweetie loves and appreciates them.
Here’s a creative idea using icing and decadent treats. Extra brownie points if the treats are your sweetie’s faves.
All you will need:
1 tube(s) of icing you can pick up from any supermarket in the baking aisle or in a baking supplies shop.
1 box of treats such as cupcakes, truffles, or anything mini that has a flat surface, bars (such as brownies, Nanaimo bars).
Get a few bars (if they are too big you can cut them into small pieces) and using the icing tube like a pen, write a letter on each piece to form your personalized message.
Here’s an example of what Theo Chocolate has done as an example to follow:
Tip:
1. Keep your message simple otherwise you will have a lot to write onto.
2. You can use more than one icing colour to add some fun.
3. If you make a mistake you can use a butter knife to wipe the icing off.
4. Treats can be brought or you can make them yourself to make them extra special.
You can whip these up in no time and no baking is required especially if time is of the essence. Plus it’s an idea you can use over and over again using different messages and treats.
Let these treats express the message without you having to say a word and leave an impression of love and romance. It’s all about K.I.S.S. – Keep It Sweet and Simple.
